Headstone of Richard Fryer (abt. 1663-1710) and Mary, his wife,
in Arlingham churchyard, Gloucestershire

Although the stone is now almost illegible, the details recorded in 1993 in the the document, 'Arlingham: Memorial Inscriptions', are as follows...

Here lyeth the body of / RICHARD FRYER, of Overton, / yeoman, who
died April the / 19th, anno 1710, aged 47 yrs. / Also MARY, the wife
of / RICHARD FRYER, died July ye 1, / anno 1720, aged 51 y.

(Headstone with shaped top; design with two cherubs' heads, and flowers
at sides; inscription incised; grey sandstone.)
