The original marker depicting the grave of Private Henry James Weaver (1882-1916)
at Merville Communal Cemetery Extension, Merville, France
The above photograph was sent to Henry's family by the Director of Graves Registration and Enquiries at the War Office. The memoral inscription confirms the account that Henry was killed by accident, rather than in combat.
