The Hibbitt grave in Drake Memorial Park, Plymouth, Devon |
The Hibbitt grave plaque in Drake Memorial Park photographed in October 2007
on the 35th anniversary of the death of Charles George Hibbitt
After entering Drake Memorial Park, the location of the Hibbitt grave is in the first section on the far left, approximately two-thirds of the way down.
The rose in the photograph was cut from a bush which had originally stood in Charles and Ivy's garden in East Allington in the South Hams in Devon. Nowadays it has pride of place in the garden of their granddaughter, Annie, the author of this site.
