Hibbitt Family - Picture Gallery

Richard Fryer is believed to have been baptized in this church in 1792 and later married Ann Jones here in 1813. Their children were also baptized here, amongst them Mary Ann Fryer, who married Daniel Bailey Pitcher in this church. Their children, in turn, were also baptized in the parish church.

Ancestors of the above mentioned Fryers have been reliably traced back to the beginning of the mid 17th century, all having lived in Overton, Arlingham, and been connected to the church through the occasional offices (ie, baptisms, weddings, burials) at the very least.

Members of the Taysom family were also baptized in St Mary the Virgin's Church.
