Sarah Louisa Oliver and John George Barnes travelled
on the ss Great Britain to Australia in 1865. They travelled as Sarah L
Barnes, aged 21, and John Geo Barnes, aged 26 and arrived in September
of that year. Isambard Kingdom Brunel's
ship is now conserved in Bristol in the dry dock where she was
originally built.
