Welcome To The Hibbitt Family History Website
Let me introduce myself - my name is Annie Barnes
(originally Anne Mary Hibbitt) and this site is the result of my research into
my family history. It's very much a
work-in-progress; I'm continuing to gather information and put this data
together.
I may have further information on a given individual
than is currently shown on this site so if you want to know more please contact
me.
How To Explore My Family Tree
Start with the surnames
index or the family tree names page. Then choose an individual and follow the links to the information
you want to see. Remember that women are listed under their maiden
names. You could, if you wish, start with the pedigree of my
grandparents, Charles
George Hibbitt, Ivy
Alice Dando, William
Hellyer Geake or Phyllis
Grace Weaver.
Alternatively, try using the search facility below,
which can also be accessed from the ·search link
in the navigation bar on every page of this website.
(Tip: For multiple word searches, choosing 'all words' or 'exact
phrase' may yield
more accurate results than 'any word'.)
'BIOGRAPHY and SOURCE NOTES' links on the family pages
are worth viewing as more information is available for these people and, in many
cases, a short story of what is known about them.
When you see a 'PEDIGREE' link, it will take you to a page displaying
that person's direct ancestors.
To protect their privacy, living people have been excluded from the index.
Reports
The family tree reports
page is where you can download, view or print out pdf files of my family tree and other reports - useful for getting an overview of who's
who and where they fit into the family.

moved to Bristol but
they also resided in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, and some in New
York. They also had connections with Australia, New Zealand, Manchester,
London, Middlesex and Devon. The Oliver family came from Yorkshire. The
