Welcome To The Hibbitt Family History Website
Let me introduce myself - my name is Annie Barnes
(originally Anne Mary Hibbitt) and this site is the result of my research into
my family history. It's very much a
work-in-progress; I'm continuing to gather information and put this data
together. The · sitemap page
shows you what you can find on my site and regular visitors might want to check the ·
what's new page to keep up-to-date with my latest findings.
I always enjoy hearing from fellow researchers and
distant cousins and would appreciate you taking the time to send
me a message. It's possible that I may have further information on a
specific individual
than is currently shown on this site so if you want to know more please
do get in touch. NEW ...And
to all visitors, may I invite you to leave
a comment in my guestbook before you go.
How To Explore My Family Tree
Listed below are 3 different ways to get to the
information you are looking for:
(1) You may wish to begin by using the search
box below.
(This facility can also be accessed from every page of this
website using the ·search link
in the navigation bar.)
(Tip: For multiple word
searches, choosing 'all words' or 'exact
phrase' may yield
more accurate results than 'any word'.
Note - these results don't include the gallery
which has its own search engine within the gallery pages.)
Note: women are listed under their maiden
names.
My direct ancestors can be easily identified because their
Christian names, as well as their surnames (where known), appear in
capital letters.
(2) Alternatively, click on the ·family
tree link, choose a surname and then, from the subsequent
page, select an individual and follow the links to the information
you want to see.
(3) Lastly, you could, if you wish, start with
the pedigree links of my grandparents:
'BIOGRAPHY and SOURCE NOTES' links on the family
tree pages
are worth viewing as more information is available for these people and, in many
cases, a short story of what is known about them.
When you see a 'PEDIGREE' link, it will take you to a page displaying
that person's direct ancestors.
To protect their privacy, living people have been excluded from the index.
Photos & Gallery
The Photos section
includes a number of photographs and video clips relating to my family.
I am also in the process of building a Gallery
which contains many more images.

The Resources section comprises various
subsections. These include:

who and where they fit into the family.
