    POST-OFFICE PRESENTATION

    At the Post-office on Wednesday morning the Postmistress (Mrs. Lenton) presented Mr. R.A. Weaver with an engraved ebony walking-stick on the occasion of his retirement on behalf of the staff at the Curry Rivel office.

    Mr. Weaver is retiring after 40 years' service with the Post-office. He has been connected with the Curry Rivel postal district for the whole of his service, starting as a young man as a relief postman. Mr. Weaver takes with him the good wishes of the public and the P.O. staff at Curry Rivel, who all wish him many years of health and happiness.
