    [Thomas made equal provision for his wife, Ann, and his 'daughter', Ann, who would have actually been his step-daughter and niece. He appointed his wife as his executrix and also his friends, Charles Tidmarsh and Thomas Thompson, both maltsters, as executors. A Trust was to be set up for his daughter until she reached the age of twenty-one to be looked after by his two male executors. All three executrix and executors were to be appointed 'Guardians and Curators' of his daughter during her minority.]
