Additional Information

RICHARD FRYER:
Will: 11 APR 1710, Proved on 7th April 1711 by Mariam Ffryer [Mary Fryer, widow]. 6
Inventory: 5 APR 1711 7
Occupation: Yeoman 10 11
Occupation: Clothier 12
Residence: APR 1710, Overton, Arlingham, Gloucestershire 13 14 15

MARY ?:

Mary may have been called Mary Haines. The parish registers for Leonard Stanley recorded a marriage of a Richard Ffrier to a Mary Haines on 23rd February 1690/1. This may well be the correct marriage as their first child, Mary, was baptized almost a year later but further evidence is required to corroborate this supposition. Nevertheless, the witnesses to Mary's husband's will included Joseph Haynes junior and senior. Perhaps these two men were related to Mary if she was indeed Mary Haines.

HUSBAND & WIFE NOTES:
Richard and Mary FRYER were buried in St Mary the Virgin's Churchyard in Arlingham, Gloucestershire.
